Raised
on commercial and purebred cattle operations in northern Arizona, Lisa holds
bachelors and masters degrees in Animal Science and Management Systems. She
worked for non-profit associations in the area of communications and member
services for many years and then started her own business as a contract assistant
to various sectors of the beef industry. Lisa and business partner Kathie Bedolli
teamed up in 1998 to form a company specializing in publication design and layout and in 2004, expanded this company to what is now BluePrint Marketing.
While still active in the service side of BluePrint
as a designer and operational specialist, Lisa’s primary duties are as
the administrator and business manager of BluePrint.

Kathie’s
keen eye for design, color and form, coupled with a logical mind that brings
function to form, are talents that make BluePrint’s
marketing products stand out. She has been the art director and project administrator
for CALF News for over seven years, has developed advertising campaigns as well as
marketing materials for a number of companies in the livestock industry and
continues design work for association periodicals. Her background in sales,
service and customer relations gives support to her creative talents. As creative
principal of BluePrint, Kathie oversees each marketing
and promotional piece produced by BluePrint, setting
a tone of high-quality, creative, innovative products.
Jo Dexter,
Marketing Specialist
With
a varied background in agriculture and the beef industry, communications and
marketing, Jo brings extensive knowledge in the areas of branded beef, purebred
cattle production and research and development to BluePrint.
A native Coloradoan and a graduate of Colorado State University with degrees
in Animal Science and Ag Journalism, Jo spent many years working for agribusinesses
in the areas of communications, marketing and public relations. Her attention
to detail, industry knowledge, people and coordination skills makes her an excellent
marketing specialist.


A
self-taught artist with a zest for challenges, Kelli brings strong industry
background and formal education in Animal Sciences to BluePrint.
Raised in California, she grew up showing horses, sheep and cattle and worked
for a variety of agriculture and educational organizations before graduating
with an MS in Extension Education from Colorado State University. While also
working as a print designer, Kelli’s main duties are as BluePrint’s
Web designer. Her attention to detail, ability to compile multiple thoughts,
ideas and directives from a variety of sources and create a finished product
that meets the client’s needs and expectations is invaluable as a designer.
Larisa
Willrett, Copy Editor
BluePrint
copy editor Larisa Willrett has worked in agriculture communications as both
a writer and editor for more than 10 years. Willrett lives in Malta Ill., where
she and her husband are partners in J. Willrett Farms, LLP, a feedyard and diversified
farming operation, and Beef Performance Technology, LLP, a feedlot ultrasound
business. Originally from Montana, Willrett graduated from Colorado State University
with a bachelor’s degree in animal science and a master of agriculture
in beef industry leadership. She was assistant director of membership for the
former National Cattlemen’s Association (now the NCBA) in Denver and later
was agriculture program coordinator for University of Illinois Cooperative Extension
Service.
LaRayne Meyer-Topp, Writer
Raised on a Nebraska farm, LaRayne has been a freelance writer for more than 20 years. She graduated from Wayne State College, Wayne, Neb., with a bachelor’s degree in English/writing and a minor in journalism. She has been employed at both weekly and daily newspapers, and has had work published in regional and national magazines, as well as hardcover craft books and inspirational publications. She and her husband, Dale, make their home in northeast Nebraska.
